On my daily perusal through the blogosphere, I stumbled across this article, which I had originally found referenced on Terry Storch’s blog.
My brother is currently employed by the SBUX and has been pursuing an ongoing career there, although that career may be coming to an end shortly. Actually, my other brother and I have also done the Starbuck’s experience as employees as well.
Anyway, I sent the article to my brother to get his viewpoint given his tenure with the company and his interest in being a model employee. We all have agreed that we really like the way they handle their employees and business in general. We all also really enjoy our various preferred drinks prepared by the skilled baristas that work there.
My brother delivered in fine form exactly the type of response I was looking to receive from him. He agreed with the areas of concern, but also clearly pointed out our human ability to complain about the speck’s in other people’s eyes before removing the plank in our own.
Thanks again for your direction, guidance and insight. You know all that stuff big brothers are about!

Jason – I liked what Chris had to say off his blog. But, I had a
question for you or him. I love Tony Robbins as an actor…but
I'm totally against his political views. If I were to no longer
watch his movies because of it, does that make me judgemental? I
think it means I care more about his personal views than his acting
abilities. Is that wrong? I guess I'm wondering if someone can
judge one's actions w/o being judgemental.
