It’s about that time of year again. Time for getting your hands all nasty and gutting a pumpkin. That’s actually one of my favorite parts.
A family member just sent me a PowerPoint slideshow of this guy’s pumpkin artistry, according to his website, he is the Pumpkin Gutter.
My family didn’t celebrate Halloween too much when I was growing up. Too many evil connotations and concerns. Looking back it bothered me, but I still ended up getting plenty of candy. Now as an adult, my favorite thing to do is carve the pumpkin. Problem is, even with my art minor, I’m just not very good at it. I’ve tried the special carving kit things and all that, but nothing seems to work for me.
Just saw yesterday that Dremel has now released a pumpkin carving kit. I own a Dremel, I can just picture the pumpkin shrapnel flying everywhere now.
