My favorite single artist, Harry Connick, Jr., [Fan Site] recently met with Senate Finance Committee to encourage the rebuilding of New Orleans.
Now, this obviously doesn’t come as a surprise since this is his hometown. He also says “money should not be an object” to getting the job done.
The sad thing is, money is an object, and there are plenty of people that don’t think so much money should be built for a city in a very disaster possible location. But, I guess it shouldn’t matter. How many times have we rebuilt West Coast cities after earthquakes, or any other similar “act of God”.
I wonder what his opinions are of Nagin and Blanco.
