Okay, time to rant against Apple for a minute:
1.) If I want to install Quicktime I DON’T necessarily want to install iTunes. OKAY! PAY ATTENTION. Quicktime = Yes, iTunes = NO!. I’m sure there are other people that would like it the other way too. I do use iTunes at home, but I’m trying to install Quicktime on another computer and I don’t need iTunes with it for this one.
People complain about Google taking over the world or Microsoft not giving you options. Well what about this? Change the name of the stinking software and combine the two if I don’t have the option of installing one without the other.
Personally, I don’t use a Mac, but I have no problem with those who do, except when they think I’m an idiot or a freak for using a PC. Good grief! It’s almost like it’s a cult religion or something. Let’s get these folks into a tolerance class!
And you’d think given the fact that they flaunt the fact that any real media production is done on a Mac (photography, media, movies, audio, etc.) they could get some of those same artists to come up with some new advertising campaigns than stealing ideas from someone else. That post was just perfect timing for me!
