This post is for my brother, anyone else out there reading my blog that enjoys the man-powered two-wheeled transportation option, and myself if I’d ever actually get on my bike again and ride it.
The Pedalite is a little kinetic energy wunderthingy. It’s a bike pedal, expensive one at that (a little under $90/pair) that uses the kinetic energy of you cycling to power flashing LED lamps for higher visibility at night. It includes a capacitor for storing the converted energy for when you’re not pedaling while coasting or waiting at an intersection.
For more information visit the Pedalite website.
Thanks to the Unplugged Living blog for the heads-up on this little bit of gadgetry!
