If you’ve been reading my blog for very long you’re probably aware that I’m a huge Survivor fan. I’ve applied to be on the show three times, all obviously unsuccessful attempts.
Let me also get this out of the way right off the bat. Eric from this season is an absolute moron!
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I didn’t realize that Jeff Probst produced a movie that I absolutely loved!
Just a few weeks later, he was taking on more roles: directing an indie film from his own script. “Finder’s Fee,” an edgy drama that begins with someone finding a wallet that contains a winning lottery ticket, was released in 2001.
“It was a small, little movie ? we just had a million dollars ? but I got to make the movie I wanted to make,” Probst says. “The script was good enough to get James Earl Jones to sign on for $500 a week. He said, `I’ll take it ? and a treadmill in my dressing room.'” Thanks to Jones, landing other actors at a bargain got easier.
This was a great movie! If you haven’t seen it I’m sure you’ll be pleased with it. Once you find it and watch it, I’d love to have you come back and tell me what you thought.

I'm a huge survivor fan too and like everyone else on the planet, I have to agree with you about Erik. Talk about just falling off the turnip truck. But then Jason was almost as big a dork.
My wife and I were glued this season and I was surprised that the show doesn't seem to diminish over time. I think this season was the best so far. Especially enjoyable were Poverty :) and Amanda – don't tell my wife. Seems like the bikinis are getting smaller.
