This is just amazing! How in the world do you blow an air-bubble ring?
Interesting Stuff - Random Thoughts and Resources I'd Like to Share
This is that category of stuff that may just not fit anywhere else. It will usually be interesting websites or other resources I may have come across. It could also be some random thoughts I have and want to "get down" on some virtual paper somewhere. Hopefully you'll find it interesting, it's definitely just a bunch of stuff!
How Well Do You Know Your Brands
Here’s a quick online quiz from CramerSweeney.
The quiz consists of 20 questions across 4 different areas of marketing and branding recognition.
I think there may be a little glitch with the quiz though because I don’t think I missed any but it said I only got 19 out of the 20.
See if you get the same results and let us know in the comments.
Big Think
Here’s another website that I first heard about while listening to the net@nite podcast with Leo Laporte and Amber MacArthur.
Our task is to move the discussion away from talking heads and talking points, and give it back to you. That is Big Think’s mission. In practice, this means that our information is truly interactive. When you log onto our site, you can access hundreds of hours of direct, unfiltered interviews with today’s leading thinkers, movers and shakers. You can search them by question or by topic, and, best of all, respond in kind. Upload a video in which you take on Senator Ted Kennedy’s views on immigration; post a slideshow of your trip to China that supports David Dollar’s assertion that pollution in China is a major threat; or answer with plain old fashioned text. You can respond to the interviewee, respond to a responder or heck, throw your own question or idea into the ring.
If you’re interested in expanding your world view and knowledge of a variety of topics Big Think can be a site that will provide loads of opportunity to give yourself a conversation starter.
I think one of the best ways to expand your own understanding of a topic as well as solidify your own stance is to hear what other people think about a topic.
Big Think gives you exactly that. What I couldn’t find on the site and an addition that I think would be great is to deliver the audio into a podcast stream by topic that you could subscribe to via your favorite podcast aggregator application and MP3 player.
