Supposedly it’s the perfect website. An improved user-interface that anyone can use. It’s just plain simple folks.
I will say though it could use some improvement, I think some visitors might need a “Click Here” instruction to make it “perfect”.
This is that category of stuff that may just not fit anywhere else. It will usually be interesting websites or other resources I may have come across. It could also be some random thoughts I have and want to "get down" on some virtual paper somewhere. Hopefully you'll find it interesting, it's definitely just a bunch of stuff!

Protopage has released an updated version of their personal homepage portal. If you’re not familiar with Protopage, it’s a completely customizeable personal portal page that you design as you wish. They were one of the first (if not the first) websites that let you use some nice ajaxy drag ‘n drop functionality to organize groups of information on your page.
With the latest version of Protopage, they’ve improved on what was already a great concept for a personal portal. Specifically 30 new improvements including those below:
 — Instant collaboration – set a password to let others see or edit your page
 — Color coded tabs and categories, to help you organize your information better
 — Listen to and watch audio and video podcasts
 — A new news reader, meaning you can zip through your morning news in record time
 — Cartoon support – see a Dilbert cartoon directly on your page!
 — 270 preloaded widgets, including 96 games, 71 finance widgets and 26 sports score widgets
It’s free to use Protopage, and if you’re looking for a single location to organize a wide variety of information. We may have just uncovered what you were looking for in the first place.

You know who you are. You’re the type that watches American Idol or Rock Star and thinks to yourself, “I could do that!”.
SingShot gives you your chance to see how you rate with the public. You can submit recordings of your singing skills and the SingShot community will rate your performance and give you feedback. Can you handle it?
SingShot is the premier online singing community where you can show off your singing skills, listen to other singers, and communicate with your fans and other members for free!
Whether you love karaoke, sing in the shower or are a serious singer, now you can get your voice heard and listen to other talented and fun-hearted singers from around the world!
Give it a try and be sure to let us know when you do. I’d love to hear what some of our readers sound like with their singing skills.
Thanks to my friend Ben for letting me know about this site via his blog.
