Just in case you weren’t paying attention, my Indianapolis Colts are the only undefeated team in the league.
This is that category of stuff that may just not fit anywhere else. It will usually be interesting websites or other resources I may have come across. It could also be some random thoughts I have and want to "get down" on some virtual paper somewhere. Hopefully you'll find it interesting, it's definitely just a bunch of stuff!

On the heels of the Million Dollar Homepage, the Nickels for Katrina website takes that ideas and puts a generous philanthropic twist to it. All the funds raised will to benefit the Red Cross. According to their website:
In September 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the city of New Orleans. This has created a state of need for the city. Agencies such as the Red Cross and FEMA have made it clear that the best way to help the Katrina effort is to donate money to the cause.
Our idea is to raise $50,000 to help with the relief effort. Here’s where you come in. We are giving away pixels on the front page of our web site in exchange for $.05 US each:
If we can sell off all 1 million pixels on the front page, we will raise: $.05 x 1,000,000 = $50,000!

MAN! I wish I would have thought of that first!

My favorite single artist, Harry Connick, Jr., [Fan Site] recently met with Senate Finance Committee to encourage the rebuilding of New Orleans.
Now, this obviously doesn’t come as a surprise since this is his hometown. He also says “money should not be an object” to getting the job done.
The sad thing is, money is an object, and there are plenty of people that don’t think so much money should be built for a city in a very disaster possible location. But, I guess it shouldn’t matter. How many times have we rebuilt West Coast cities after earthquakes, or any other similar “act of God”.
I wonder what his opinions are of Nagin and Blanco.
