I’m using Qdoba as an example, but this really goes out to all companies that start doing something that’s not really in their core business.
I got an email recently from Qdoba letting me know I could now visit their website and download a free music file and learn more about "our sound" at their website. Honestly the "sound" of Qdoba is something I’d probably prefer not to hear about if you know what I mean.
To me it’s not too much different than Pizza Hut and their Wing Street brand. Pizza Hut , you’re really not doing pizza that well anymore, how about you just focus on improving that before you start also offering less than average buffalo wings too.

I don't know. Anything free from a company is a good thing. :) And I've been in restaurants before and wished I knew who the artist was on a particular song so that I could get it for myself. I see the music program as a good move on their part. Connecting with customers on other levels isn't a bad thing.
