Are you looking for some good music to listen to in your cubicle while you’re at work? Hopefully the network admins for your IT department will let the tunes stream from Slacker Personal Radio.
Earlier this week I wrote about my experiences with Grooveshark, another streaming music site. Slacker Personal Radio was another site that was recommended to me by another friend. Always interested in uncovering something new on the web, I’ve tried it out and I like it.
Similar to Pandora and Grooveshark, I can build custom stations of my favorite artists music and rate songs that I like so I’ll hear them more frequently. I can also easily share a song or a station with others by email, embed code or a twitter update.
You can sign-up for a free account or pay for the plus upgrade. The difference between the two accounts is that I can have unlimited song skipping, song requests, no ads and complete song lyrics with the paid plus version. Slacker Radio Plus costs $3.99/mnth, which compared to some other similar services isn’t that bad.
Fill your head with a new earworm at work and uncover more streaming tunes with Slacker Personal Radio.
