The Rodeoclown has shared with me this morning this article about Greenpeace getting fined for damage they’ve done to a reef in the Philippines.
Greenpeace faces fine for reef damage
The ship’s own rubber boats safely towed the Rainbow Warrior II into deeper water, and it escaped serious damage.
So, they were more worried about the damage done to the boat than the reef? Why wasn’t there more coverage to the impact of the reef itself?
I also think it’s ironic or hypocritical for them to use these big massive, man-made transports that probably killed various animals in the production cycle. Not to mention the gas/oil/fuel that’s used for the boat to run. Doesn’t that really damage the environment too?
