Who Is Bnpositive? Let me introduce you.

In spending time this week at Blog Indiana I’ve had another opportunity to meet so many great, local bloggers and twitter tweeps.

I put the graphic above together after a little bit of fun I poked during one of the sessions and saying that Scotty, with Scotty’s Brewhouse, looked like the actor Bruce Davison (you may remember him as the Senator Kelly from the X-men movies). I’ve been told that I resemble a few people.

While in a session upstairs as part of the "Un-Summit", Duncan Alney with Firebelly was talking about you personal brand. As part of the discussion I asked the question of how do I take the brand (perhaps more accurately ‘persona’) I’ve developed in "Bnpositive" since the days of AOL chat rooms.

As I have started to writing more on the web professional at a variety of sites, I’m writing more under my real name of Jason Bean. I want to build, and KEEP, what I’ve developed with Bnpositive and mesh it with who I really am, Jason Bean.

Mega Woosh with Massive Slip-'n-Slide

A friend of mine was talking with me about this YouTube video. I hadn’t heard of it before and it sounded hilarious. My friend was telling me that it’s actually an edited and mocked-up video, but it’s fun nonetheless.

We used to build a massive slip-‘n-slide each year at college for our annual back-to-school luau. We didn’t have this length or height, but we still had a lot of fun. You might or might not be impressed with how much fun a bunch of college students can have with landscaping plastic, a water hose and a couple dozen bottles of dishwashing soap.

Old School Nintendo Games Online with Virtual NES Site

WARNING! You may have already lost days of productivity with the site I’m about to tell you about. You should continue reading at your own risk. I am not to be held responsible for the project that didn’t get completed that was due. Period!

The vNES website (Virtual Nintendo Entertainment System) could very well be the largest time-suck I’ve ever written about on Uncover the Internet. Hopefully you’ve taken my warning seriously and if you’re still reading, I assume you understand the consequences of continuing further.

The vNES website has taken your favorite Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games and built a virtual console for use on the web. I’ve already played a game of Contra and have got to tell you it was a blast from the past! The only problem I have is I want a USB equipped, old-school NES game control pad so everything feels normal.

If you have other favorites, they’re here too! Super Mario Brothers (1,2,3), TECMO Bowl, Excitebike, Kung Fu, Life Force, Double Dribble, all my favorites were here!

The graphics, although I thought they were amazing at the time, are now so out of date it’s almost funny, but the game play is still loads of fun.

Get your memories back of wasting all that time in your room as a kid and relax a little bit with the vNES website.
