Prior to my current job working as an independent consultant with another person, I was responsible for developing a new college recruiting program for a recruitment process outsourcing company. At the time I was hired, the company was named Princeton Solution, then we renamed and rebranded to HirePursuit (which I really like the name), and now they along with their parent and sibling companies are now called PrincetonOne.
Last week, they made a huge announcement in Indianapolis. They recently relocated and merged two offices into a single building downtown, very close to Conseco Fieldhouse. The announcement was that over the next five years they’ll be extending their hiring to another 200 or more positions in the city. These are high paying positions, so the impact to the economy should be pretty nice, therefore the Lt. Governor, Becky Skillman and Indianapolis Mayor Bart Petersen were part of the press conference. The article in the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) can be read here.
It’s exciting to see things going well for my old company. While I was working there, I was very excited about the future potential of the company and knew they’d be making news headlines and waves in the industry in the coming years. There’s a small part of me that wonders where’d I’d be if I stuck around, but the last year and months working with my current endeavors have taught me more than I could have dreamed and don’t regret a day of it.
The program I began setting up as a foundation is now called CampusConnect. I am curious as to how much of the structure I originally help develop and write-up are still a part of the existing structure. It was fun being a part of something like that.
Best of luck to my friends that are still there and doing a great job like Dave, Matt, Meggan, Ryan and Rebecca.
