Just found this little article giving you 23 tips for speeding up your Windows XP machine. A couple of these I’ve used already, but I’ll probably be diving a little deeper into this in the near future.
You know the other thing I’d like to know how to setup on my computer would be little task specific system running protocols. For instance, if I know I’m going to be working on some video editing stuff and don’t need connection to the internet, then I could flip a switch and shut-down all no crucial system processes that aren’t needed for those activities.
Does anyone know how that can be done or if it can be?
