Earlier this year when I was in Las Vegas for Blog World Expo 2008, I was able to make the trip thanks to the generosity of a friend of mine that lives in Henderson. He let me stay at his place and borrow a car for free for the extended visit.
He comes to Indianapolis every year with friends to catch a race and I usually get to tag along and serve as their Indy hospitality guide and race-day supplies hauler. He came in every year for the F1 race, but last year they were here for the Indy 500 in the absence of their preferred race.
Last month he competed in the Superkarts USA Supernationals competition that took place in the parking lot of the Rio Hotel in Vegas.
Here’s an article about his experience that appeared in the Las Vegas Sun website.
