My MIL (mother-in-law) recently sent an email to the family asking what we wanted on our Christmas lists. I haven’t responded yet and don’t know if I really will ask for anything. They’ve helped us out so much and there’s nothing I really need.
The only two things I’ve been debating on asking for if pressed would be a Logitech Harmony remote or an Xbox 360.
The remote would be really cool. They’re anywhere between $99-$299 and would easily remove the need for me to have any other remotes sitting around the living room. Two friends have them and haven’t had anything negative to say about them.
The other option was to ask for an Xbox 360. However, I just read through a list of games that won’t be compatible on the new console. The vast majority of my games are on the list, so if I wanted to play them I’d have to have both consoles connected to the TV. That wouldn’t be a problem because I have plenty of available inputs on my Sony Wega (man! I love my TV).
Looks like the remote is a better option, but just in case maybe I should get the Logitech? Harmony? 360 Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360
A new Sony VAIO notebook would be nice too, but I’m not asking for that for sure!

Hold out for the PS3…it's supposed to blow the X-Sux away. Plus MS is evil :)

Nah, you know what's weird. I'm a Sony nut, but have never liked the PlayStation for some reason. I've always chosen a competitor over their console everytime. N64, Dreamcast, and now XBOX. XBOX has the whole online community cornered. Plus, PS3 doesn't have Halo.
