Late last year I wrote a post about how Vornado was really taking advantage of using social media to both connect with existing customers and increase exposure to more potential customers.
They are continuing to take advantage of their expanding social network by encouraging their friends and followers to take part in their product development by taking a short survey.
This is the first example that I’m aware of where a standard company has taken advantage of social networks to impact their research and development. Not uncommon with social media and online or tech companies, it’s nice to see Vornado continuing to expand their use and value of that use of social media.
