Creating a Business Card Signature in Outlook 2007

I’ve been using Plaxo for awhile now and one of the features I liked about it was a custom signature that it would build for you inside of your Outlook application. Did you know that with Outlook 2007 you can create your own business card type signature?

It’s very easy to create a signature file within Outlook 2007 that you can append to any of your messages automatically or as needed when you desire.

From my example above I created a quick one to be used as a basic business response email whenever I respond back to someone. I could also create one for my personal email address too.

The key is to just have a contact card added in your address book with the information you want to use in the signature.

Send Out Cards – Sending a Message Old School

The world wide web is a great place. From someone who spends a significant amount of time cruising the "tubes", I can tell you that if you can’t find it on the web you aren’t looking the right way. There’s a caveat to that in that there’s probably some stuff on the web you’d rather not find as well.

Communication is perhaps the single area on the Internet that has exploded. There are so many ways to stay in touch and send a message on the web. The SendOutCards website helps you re-connect and communicate with people the old way. With mailed out cards, but they allow you to do it very easily. These aren’t e-cards either.

Pick your card, write your message and click send. Your message is then printed on the card, put in an envelope and sent to the recipient you specify. Remember doing that? Remember the feeling you had/have when you get "real" mail from someone?

Problems Installing Mobile Apps on Phone

I’ve really started using my phone more and more to get information and resources I need while I’m on the move. The only problem lately is that some apps I’ve been trying to install on my phone won’t let me install to the storage card.

Some of my current favorite mobile apps have been PocketTwit, Google Maps, YouTube, Evernote and others. Some of these apps I’ve been able to install successfully to my 2GB MicroSD card and some won’t let me install to that location.

Anyone know of a reason why? Is this a problem with the application itself, the phone, or the storage card? Has anyone else successfully installed these apps on their storage cards? Let me know.
