I’m not sure what it is but I’ve always preferred fresh air from the great outdoors whenever it’s available. The challenge sometimes is the other scents from the outdoors that comes in with that fresh air. If you have kids, you probably know what I’m talking about with how your kids just smell like the outdoors when they’ve been playing outside.
Now that the weather is cooling off, the opportunity to have the windows open more is upon us and I’m taking advantage of it as much as I can.
I’ve been using Febreeze as an air freshener in their spray bottle forms for a number of years now and love the way it makes the rooms around the house smell great. We have two cats and a dog so it seems we’re always fighting pet odor smells around the house now as well.
They have a new air freshener system called the Febreeze Set & Refresh system that lasts for 30 days and requires no batteries or electric source.
Regretfully, when we received our intro kit my wife couldn’t quite handle the strength of the scent that came with our package. To try out this unit, I decided to bring it to the office of the professional SEO firm I work with a few days a week. The office space is an old, converted school building. I placed the unit near a window in the corner of the office and so far I’m very pleased with the way the device works. It’s been doing a great job of freshening up the room just enough to notice, but not overpowering by any means.
There are 8 different scents to choose from currently:
- Natural: Meadows & Rain, Linen & Sky (this is the scent we tried, smells great, but going to try others too)
- Floral:Â Spring & Renewal
- Fruity & Refreshing:Â Apple Spice & Delight
- Exotic: Hawaiian Aloha, Thai Dragon Fruit
- Fresh & Clean: Sweet Citrus & Zest, Advanced Odor Eliminator
From what I’ve seen (or more accurately, “smelled”) so far, I’ll be purchasing another unit for use at the house and hopefully be able to pick a fragrance that’s more agreeable to my wife’s nose. These Febreeze Set & Refresh units can be purchased for less than $5, so having a couple in the house in the laundry room (where we keep our cat’s litter box and food), and out in the living room would be nice.
