It’s casual Friday in most offices today and chances are you’re wearing a polo shirt and some kakhi pants if you’re a guy. In my job I can go business casual with most clients and for that reason I have a closet full of polo shirts and thanks to Land’s End new mesh polo, I’m hoping to have some more!
I was able to add one of these new polos to my closet recently and I’d like to help you add one to your closet as well, but more details on that later.
As part of a promotion I received a new Land’s End Mesh Polo in my choice of color. I chose the “Bold Sun” (you know, bright, smiley happy face and all!) yellow polo and I can honestly tell you this is now the best polo shirt in my closet. It’s super comfortable, and although the fabric has a nice, quality weight to it, it’s not overly warm. In fact, one of the days I wore it I walked a number of blocks downtown Indianapolis to grab some lunch on a warm day and was still comfortable. This polo just feels great as you’re wearing it and looks great too!
I have a closet full of polos that I wear on a regular basis. I normally always where a t-shirt under them because sometimes the fabric inside can be a little scratchy, however this new polo from Land’s End is super-soft and I wouldn’t need to wear a t-shirt under it if I didn’t want to anyway.

Like I said, I picked up the “Bold Sun” yellow, but they’ve got so many other great colors I’d really like to add more to my closet, and I just noticed that price on them on their website is just $20-25 depending on size. I normally don’t ask for anything for Father’s Day, but perhaps I’ll make an exception now. I’d like to give you one of these polo shirts COMPLETELY FREE! I’m going to be the one selfish guy on here and say that I would want it for myself. I had 2 polos going into last winter. Somehow I leaned against wet paint in one, & last week, I was treating our above ground pool & after throwing some chlorine in the pool, without thought, I wiped my shirt. I am now in need of a good polo! Bright leaf (green) fits my wardrobe & the bright color I can actually wear (pastel colors don’t work for the rotund like me). There’s my rationale.

My daddy has a uniform. Shorts from Macy's and a Lands End Polo or t-shirt. He always tries to convince Cody to make the switch to his daily staples but Cody has yet to make the leap. He can't not leap if it's free right?
