Property Management Postcard Campaign: Factors to Consider

Row of Houses Along Waterway

The real estate industry is quite competitive, and for estate managers, it is often challenging for estate managers to establish themselves in the industry.

Many realtors feel like their growth in the industry becomes stagnant after a couple of years, which is why many even consider leaving the profession altogether.

However, one can grow their business by investing in marketing and advertising.

As a property manager, a well-thought-out advertising campaign can help you onboard more clients and help build more connections within the community.

While there are tons of methods of marketing, there is something unique about direct marketing. So, realtors and property managers seldom depend upon direct mail marketing to reach out to
potential clients. Herein, they send customized postcards to their target market.

Certain agencies take care of the printing, postage, and campaign tracking for you. They even provide certain types of templates for postcards for property management.

While hiring a direct mail marketing agency, there are many factors that you must consider.

1. Customizability

The best agency would offer a great degree of customizability of the postcards. It will provide postcard templates and enable its customers to edit them according to their
requirements. Moreover, choose an agency that would also let you upload your design for the postcards.

This way, you get to enjoy the best of both worlds, as you get the option to edit the postcards or upload your design altogether.

An agency worth choosing will have hundreds of templates to choose from. Whether you are looking for postcards for property management or property listings, you can
find what you need.

Such postcards are printed on high-quality paper. As a property manager, you can highlight the services you provide on the postcard to entice the target audience to get back to you.

2. Tracking options

You must get the option to track the progress of your direct mail campaign.

The best agency will provide you with credentials that you can use to log in to their portal and track your postcards. You will see how many were delivered and how many are
remaining.

3. List management

If you send postcards, you must also keep track of the mailing list. Choose an agency that would maintain the list for you as well. An agency worth hiring will also update the list as per any changes in address or unavailability of the owners.

In addition, they allow you to add a do not mail list, which will automatically remove those addresses from the list even if they fall under the area you chose to deliver.

Few agencies offer list management services, and if they do so, ensure that they are using USPS NCOA data to update their listings.

4. No minimum order quantity

A reputed agency offers competitive pricing, and the price remains the same whether you send a hundred postcards or a thousand.

Even though these companies offer competitive prices, their prices do not tend to go up when the order quantity is lower.

So, consider these factors when choosing an agency for your postcard campaign.

Which AdSense Banner Sizes are the Most Successful?

Active Cat5 Ethernet Cable

The Google AdSense advertising platform is the most popular in the industry, and it’s one of the ways many web developers have been successful in earning a good income online for many years. However, there has been much debate over the years about which banner sizes work best and while there is a clear preference in horizontal banners over vertical, there are only a few size choices that seem to bag much bigger rewards.

Horizontal Banners Work Best

Statistics with many other advertising platforms, as well as Google AdSense, show horizontal banners work best because they offer visitors better readability. A banner that is placed vertically doesn’t get as much exposure because visitors aren’t willing to spend the time reading it. Google AdSense offers multiple placements when it comes to adverts without breaking rules, and while most websites still use vertical banners just because of the extra money they make, many more website owners choose horizontal banners because they offer better readability.

Size Matters a Great Deal

Without trying to be rude, size does matter when it comes to banner advertisements. Generally, the longer and wider ones produce better results as Google has reported in their own documentation. If you truly want to better your income from your advertising platforms, try and use either the 728 x 90 leader boards or the 300 x 250 medium rectangle size banners – these have been known to produce much better results than the vertical options.

Banner Designs Are Also Very Important for an Advertising Campaign

It’s not just the size of the banner you’ll need to consider, as you may want to invest in great banner designs just so your advertisements are more exposed. An attractive banner design is much more likely to be clicked on than one that looks ugly. Spend time being creative when it comes to banner design or hire a professional that can meet your requirements.

Many Developers Choose to Place Too Many Banners

We’re all in web development to try and earn an income, but there are, unfortunately, those developers who choose to make a user’s navigational experience seem like hell. Some developers choose to place too many advertisements and popups to earn an income and in doing so, they are ruining the experience for visitors. This may well be the way forward for a lot of developers, but it isn’t the right way of doing things. And, while they may earn a good steady income for a while, their visitors will soon get fed up and not bother coming back because they know they’re just going to get a poor experience.

While the bigger advertisements with great designs produce much better results, it’s also wise not to place too many adverts on your website. This is not only so you’re following the rules, but also because you don’t want to put visitors off. Statistics show visitors are much likelier to leave a website if they feel they’re being distracted by too many advert placements.

Getting a New Business Off the Ground

Duck Flying Off the Water

One of the most difficult things to do is to get a new business off the ground. This is especially true if you are trying to start a business that is in an industry with a great deal of competition. The online world is an extremely hard place to compete. This is because it is so easy and inexpensive for people to start their own websites. This allows competitors to come out of the woodwork. Therefore, you must have a terrific business plan in order to keep your company afloat during those difficult early days when sales will be slow. It is also essential that you effectively promote your business to let the general public know what you have to offer. Here is how to get the most out of your website promotion.

Make a budget for advertising

You need to make wise financial decisions in the early days of your online business. Failure to do this will result in it going under. It would be wise for you to make a budget that lays out what you can afford to spend in all areas of your site. You can then refer to this budget on a regular basis to prevent you from going into the red in certain areas. It will be especially important for you to set aside some money for various advertising expenses. You will need to spend some money to make money. Paying for advertising is one of the best ways to set yourself apart from the competition. Most new businesses do not want to spend money before they get a steady revenue stream. You can get a leg up on all of your competitors if you are wise about where to place your ads. Placement is very crucial because you need to be sure that people in your target demographic are actually going to see the ads and respond to them. Make sure you never exceed your ad budget.

Use social media

There is nothing wrong with paying for advertising to give your online business the launch that it needs. However, there are currently plenty of free promotional methods that are available to you. For example, social media is everywhere these days. You cannot deny the power that social media has in the world today. One of the main reasons why businesses of all sizes have gravitated towards social media as a means of promotion is the fact that it is totally free. Using social media can allow your business to save money so you can afford to buy domain names and other necessary things. The reality is that companies need to have accounts on all of the major social media pages because that is how millions of people do their shopping. Not using social media will leave you out in the cold. This is one area that you need to teach yourself about if you have not previously been a social media user. Otherwise, your competition will pass you by at a rapid rate.
